eRubric Assistant
(free) is a free version of eRubric component of eRubric Assistant and eMarking
Assistant (compare versions). It can be used with any version
of Microsoft Word for either Windows or Macintosh (apart from Word 2008 for the
Macintosh).
It lets you create automated marking rubrics
containing your own assessment criteria (in rows) and performance standards (in
columns). Clicking in a cell and pressing the F6
function key will highlight the cell, rescale and record the mark. F5 or F7 will
vary the mark down or up and
F8 will total the marks and convert it to percentage and grade. eRubric Assistant can be
used at all educational levels and with
electronic, paper based assessment or other assessed tasks e.g. practical task, performances or presentations (read
more features).
Download the eRubric Assistant (free) document, save it to your computer and then open it in any version of Word and start saving time by using automated marking rubrics. Demonstration of using the eRubric and creating your own eRubric.
The free version of eRubric Assistant will "timeout" on August 1 2011 but you
can download another version that will work for 6 months from this page (eRubrics that you have ccreated will continue to work in the new document).
In addition to these eRubric tools, the eMarking Assistant
($USD20) package also allows you to create and use detailed reusable
feedback comment banks,
insert audio comments into assignments, highlight a phrase in the assignment and
click a button to do a plagiarism search or to highlight easily confused phrases
or words.
