eRubric Assistant
integrates into Word* for Windows and lets you create automated marking rubrics containing
your own assessment
criteria and performance standards. Pressing function keys or
clicking toolbar buttons (see image on the right) will then highlight standards,
and record, add, and rescale marks, and convert the final mark to a grade. eRubric Assistant can be
used at all educational levels and with
electronic, paper based assessment or other assessed tasks e.g. practical task, performances or presentations (read
more features).
A one year license to eRubric Assistant costs $USD10 and you can
download the free 30 day trial with confidence knowing that it has been
certified 100% virus, malware and spyware free by download.com and tucows.com.
In addition to these eRubric tools, the eMarking Assistant ($USD20) package also allows you to create and use detailed reusable feedback comment banks, insert audio comments into assignments, have assignments read to you, and other tools that will save you time when grading electronic assignments.
* eRubric Assistant and eMarking Assistant operate with any version of Microsoft Word released this century (Word 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007, and 2010) using any version of Windows (2000, XP, Vista, and 7). You can use also use them on a Macintosh if you are using Bootcamp or Parallels.
